MJ Bacon, LAPC

Hello! My name is Mary Joyce (MJ), and I specialize in supporting women. I completed my Master’s degree in Counseling at Georgia State University in 2006. During my clinical training, I treated women with eating disorders and anxiety, as well as women recovering from trauma.

As a therapist, I specialize in helping clients navigate the complexities of anxiety, depression, life transitions, relationships, and grief. I create a warm, supportive environment where you can feel safe to explore your emotions and find clarity. My goal is to empower you with the tools needed to heal, grow, and move forward with confidence and resilience.

With a particular interest in trauma, I am dedicated to helping clients process and heal from past experiences that continue to affect their present lives. My approach integrates evidence-based techniques tailored specifically to address trauma-related challenges, fostering deep healing and lasting change. By guiding you through a thoughtful and personalized therapeutic process, I am here to help you reclaim your sense of self and find peace.

Additionally, I offer specialized support for individuals and couples navigating challenges starting a family, including assisted reproductive interventions like IUI and IVF, reproductive trauma, and third party donor conception. Understanding the unique losses and pain faced in these experiences, I am committed to offering empathetic and practical strategies that honor your grief, support emotional well-being, and enhance your overall quality of life.

Each 50-minute session with me is $150. The initial 60-minute assessment session is $165. Currently, all sessions are self-pay. However, if you would like to file for insurance reimbursement, I can provide a superbill. If you are interested in scheduling an appointment, please reach out at 404-981-6165 or MJ@TriciaAnbinder.com.
