Holly Tufan, LPC
Hi, I'm Holly! I specialize in working with adolescents and young adults experiencing depression, anxiety, PTSD, and borderline traits. I have been intensively trained in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and I implement it heavily in my work. DBT focuses to help clients build a life worth living while providing concrete skills to manage their symptoms and behaviors. In my time working in residential levels of care,I ran DBT skills groups for families and adolescents and provided individual therapy to adolescents. This experience helped me discover a passion for group work, and I look forward to offering skills groups for adolescents and parents. I also have extensive knowledge in treating PTSD using exposure techniques, and I get great fulfillment from working with clients looking for support in healing from trauma.
I have extensive experience working with the LGBTQIA+ community. I am non-binary myself, which adds to my style of working with this community in a personalized way. Empathy, understanding, and resilience are cornerstones to my care, and I look forward to providing those to you should we work together. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my cat, playing video games, and spending time in nature as much as I am able to. I also enjoy participating in the performance art of flow arts!
My fee is $175 per 50-minute session. All sessions are self-pay; however, if you would like to file for insurance reimbursement, I can provide a superbill. If you are interested in scheduling an appointment, please reach out at 470-508-5717 or htpsych@protonmail.com. I look forward to hearing from you!
